Improving Healthcare: Delivering new treatments to patients
Developing new medicines today is a team effort, functions on a global scale and requires professionals from a variety of disciplines to work together. Before a new drug or medical device is made available to the public it must be rigorously tested for its efficacy and safety. Clinical research professionals are the individuals who design, conduct and supervise this final step in the medicines development process. They work in academic medical centers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries as well as in the governmental agencies (eg. FDA) that regulate the testing and approval process.
Whether your abilities lie in the basic sciences, patient care, data analysis or medical and regulatory writing, you should consider a career in Clinical Research Administration. As a graduate from our programs, you will play a vital role in advancing human health and patient care.
We currently offer two graduate level programs in Clinical Research Administration that offer customization for your educational journey.
- The Graduate Certificate in Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) provides the core competencies and entry level skills necessary to enter the field of clinical research.
- The Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration (CRAD) provides advanced knowledge and facilitates upward professional mobility. This degree also provides an opportunity for practicing health professionals (e.g., nurses, clinical laboratory scientists, pharmacists) to change careers and continue to utilize their current skills.
